• Who are Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic consultants?

  Anyone can become a consultant - no experience is necessary. Our community is diverse, with people from all walks of life bringing many different experiences but generally sharing a passion for our products, a keen interest in our sustainability ethos and trust in our ethical business practices.

  When you become a consultant with us, you can do as much or as little as you’d like. Our consultants generally have other businesses or responsibilities, selling products alongside their main stream of income to earn a little extra to make a big difference to their lifestyle. Some develop businesses to support a fulltime equivalent income.

  A large percentage of our network is made up of Therapists with varying specialities; some utilise our products in their treatments, whilst others retail to their clients.

• How do Consultants sell products?

  Consultants will often initially sell to friends and family, growing their network organically. Consultants earn a minimum of 25% commission on all sales.

  We support a “party plan” model, creating group sales through “hosts”. Hosts invite guests to a showcase event with the consultant, who creates sampling opportunities and demonstrates products. From these events, consultants gain new customers and new hosts, who in turn have their own get-togethers with new guests and customers. Consistent activity sustainably grows a loyal customer base, often resulting in repeat sales and an ever-expanding business potential.

  Consultants can also sell virtually through their admin-free personalised website, providing an online shopping experience along with virtual hosting opportunities. When a customer shops on a consultant’s website, that consultant receives a minimum of 25% commission.

• How do I get my free personalised website?

  Each Consultant will have their own online shop automatically generated on registration, with a unique web link for sharing on social media.

• What does a Consultant receive?

  Consultants receive between 25-40% commission on all personal sales. Each consultant has the opportunity to achieve special rewards and recognition and participate in incentives. Initial commission on all sales starts at 25%, with incremental levels of additional commission being earned, based on tiered levels of monthly sales.

  Leadership opportunities are also available to consultants who wish to build a team, inviting others to become consultants themselves. With personal and team sales qualifications, additional rewards for promotion bonuses and additional commission can be earned.

• What is the Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic business model?

  Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic is a direct selling business, meaning consultants receive commission for selling Neal’s Yard Remedies products to their customers. Direct Selling is a method of marketing and retailing goods or services directly to consumers through personal contact away from permanent retail premises. This selling can be done in person or virtually.

  Neal’s Yard Remedies Organic is a Direct Selling Association member. We comply with the DSA codes of practice and have met all the criteria required by the Association offering protection to our consultant network and the consumer. This also prohibits pyramid scheme behaviour, which is illegal.

• Is there a registration fee?

  Consultants can select a starter kit for a one-off cost. Our starter kits include a selection of best-sellers and award-winning products, as well as all basic tools needed for getting started.

• What are the targets or ongoing fees?

  No - there are no targets or ongoing monthly costs. Website maintenance is also free for active consultant accounts.

  It is likely that with consistent activity, a consultant’s business support tools and products will need replenishing. These are available at a discounted price or can be bought with product credits.
