Neal’s Yard Remedies is a UK-based family-owned company established in 1982 dedicated to trading sustainably & ethically. It was the UK’s first certified organic health & beauty brand.

As a scientist by training, I hold great value in the natural environment. During my career I’ve worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher specialising in the preservation of soils & water, and managed the Global Food & Environment Institute.

The opportunity to work with Neal’s Yard Remedies as an Independent Consultant arrived at just the right time; being a mum to two young boys, I was looking for a flexible part-time role to give me back my independence.

I’d always dreamt of being my own boss & working with Neal’s Yard Remedies allows exactly that - it inspired me to set up my own business & enables me to make decisions and control the volume of work I undertake.

Ilkley Organics is based in the beautiful spa town Ilkley, famed in Victorian history for its therapeutic spring waters, which were visited by the great naturalist & geologist, Charles Darwin.
